Batata bhaji Recipe in English:
We reached home after a long weekend and had nothing to cook at home expect the basic onion, potatoes, curry leaves and few of spices. The humble potato gels with almost anything and can be made to any vegetable. I made onion potato sabzi which was really made very yummy though limited ingredients. Onion batata bhaji is a simple recipe that can be made at home with basic ingredients viz. onion, potato and some easily available spices. These are always available in every household at any point of time. The batata bhaji delights the three senses as looks beautiful, tastes good and has a pleasant aroma. बनविण्यासाठी लागणारा वेळ: ३० मिनिटे
३-४ व्यक्तींसाठी
भाजीचे साहित्य:
१) पाव कीलो छोटे बटाटे
२) ६-७ छोटे कांदे
३) लाल तिखट
४) गरम मसाला
५) हळद
६)कोथिंबीर बारीक चिरलेली
४) गरम मसाला
५) हळद
६)कोथिंबीर बारीक चिरलेली
७) मीठ चवीनुसार
फोडणीचे साहित्य:
१) २ चमचे तेल
२) मोहरी
३) जिरे
४) कढीपत्त्याची पाने
५) चिमुठभर हींग
कृती:
छोटे बटाटे सोलून घ्यावे पण चिरु नयेत.
सोललेल्या बटाट्यांना काट्याच्या साह्याने छोटे छिद्र पाडून घ्यावे.
कांदे सोलून घ्यावे तेही चिरु नयेत अख्खेच ठेवावेत.
पातेल्यात तेल गरम करावे त्यात मोहरी, जिरे, कढीपत्त्याची पाने व हींग घालून खमंग फोडणी तयार करून घ्यावी.
या फोडणीवर कांदे व बटाटे एकदम घालावेत.
ही भाजी चमच्याने ढवळू नये.
पातेले फडक्यात धरून भाजी अवसडून घ्यावी.
झाकण ठेवावे.
झाकणात पाणी ठेवून मंद आचेवर वाफेला ठेवावी साधारण २०-२५ मिनिटे ठेवावी.
कांदे व बटाटे चांगले शिजत आल्यावर त्यात लाल तिखट, मीठ, हळद व थोडासा गरम मसाला घालून अजून काही मिनिटे शिजवावी.
बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर घालून तयार भाजी चपाती सोबत सर्व्ह करावी.
