Moongachya Dalichi Khichadi

Serves for 2.

Ingredients:

1)1 cup Kolam Rice
2)1/2 cup Moong Dal 
3)1 Onion
4) Turmeric powder
5)5-6 Curry Leaves
6) Ginger garlic paste
7) Mustards seeds
8) Cumin seeds
9)1 pinch asafoetida 
10)2 red chili
11)1 Green Chili
12)2 tsp of ghee
13)1 Tamal patra
14) Coriander Leaves
15) Salt as per taste
16) Water
17) Grated Coconut

Method:

Wash rice and moong dal and drain all the water. Leave it for ½ an hour.
Heat ghee in cooker add cumin mustards seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, tamalpatra, and ginger garlic paste red chilli and green chilli.
Add washed rice and dal, turmeric powder and salt mix it wel until
nicely dry.
Once rice gets dry add hot water.
Close the cooker with lid and let khichadi cook up to 3whistles.
Serve hot, garnish with Coriander Leaves and grated coconut.
Add ½ tsp Ghee.
