Kalya Vatanyachi Usal | Black Peas Curry


Time:  

15Minutes (Except Soaking Time)
Serves for 2.


Ingredients:

1) 1 cup soaked vatana   
2) 2 tsp oil
3) Turmeric Powder
4) 2 tsp malvani masala or as per your choice 
5) 1 chopped onion
6) 1 cup grated coconut
7) 5-6 Curry leaves
8) Coriander Leaves
9) Salt as per taste

Method:

Wash and soak vatana for 6-7 hours.

Pressure cook vatana.

Heat oil in a pan add curry leaves and chopped onion and stir it until onion turn into little brown.

Add vatana stir it and add little water.

Add masala, turmeric powder cover with lid and
let it cook for another 5-10 minutes on medium low flame.

At the other side heat oil add chopped onion and grated coconut until golden brown.

Keep aside to cool.

Make a fine paste of above mixture and add it to vatana. Add salt.

Stir it.

Once it done garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with chapatti or Malvani Vada.
