Badam Halwa

30Minutes,
Serve for 2. 

Ingredients:

1) ½ Cup Almonds  
2) 1 Cup Milk
3) 1 tsp Saffron
4) ¾ Cup Sugar
5) 3 tbsp Ghee  
6) ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder

Method:

Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the almonds and keep aside for ½ hour.


Dissolve saffron in warm milk and keep aside.


Drain and remove skins of the almonds.


Puree the almonds with 3-4 tbsp of milk to a smooth paste in a blender.



















Heat ghee in kadhai.


Add almond paste on ghee and stir it. Cook over low heat flame.


Stir it continuously till it turned into golden brown.


Boil remaining milk with 3-4 tbsp water, add to the almond mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes also add saffron milk.


Once it soaks add sugar and cardamom powder and stir it.


Serve hot or chilled as per your choice.
