Potato Thalipeeth in Marathi

Serves for 2.
Ingredients:
1) 2 Cups whole wheat flour
2) 1 chopped onion
3) 1 potato
4) 1 tsp cumin seeds
5) Turmeric powder
6) 1 tsp mustard seeds
7) Salt as per taste
8) Coriander leaves
9) 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
10) 1 tsp oil
11) ½ cup ghee
12) 1 tsp sesame seeds
13) 1 tsp Chat masala

Method:
For The Stuffing:
Add oil to
heated pan.
Add mustard
seeds, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, and chopped onion.
Once the onion
turn into golden brown add potato and salt.
Stir it well.
For The Dough:
Mix whole
wheat flour, salt, sesame seeds, cumin seeds and enough water and knead to
semi-soft dough.
Add little
oil and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into a equal portion and roll a portion of dough into a little circle.
Place the
stuffing in a centre of a circle and seal tightly.
Roll again
into a circle with a little flour on a rolling board.
Heat a tava
and cook thalipeeth from both the sides.
Serve hot
with curd or pickle.
