1) 1 Cup Basmati Rice
2) 1 and ½ cup Water
3) Salt as per taste
Ingredients for Tempering:
1) Oil
2) ½ tsp cumin seeds
3) ½ tsp Mustard seeds
4) Pinch
of Asafoetida(hing)
5) 2 Red Chilies

Method:
For Vada:
Soak all dal together for 3 hours.
Put all dal into a mixer.
Add cumin seeds, green chillies, garlic cloves and
salt.
Griand without adding water.
Heat oil into kadai.
Add Coriander leaves to above mixture mix well and
For Rice:

For Tempering:
Add Oil into a small kadai. Once oil heat add mustard
seeds, hing, cumin seeds, and broken red chillies.
For Serving:
Serve the cooked rice into serving plates. Also serve
3-4 vadas .
Crumble and sprinkle over rice .
Add hot tadka as required.
