Chakli



Time:

15 Minutes,
Serves for 2.

Ingredients:
2) 1 tsp ajwain
3) 2-3 tsp white sesame seeds
4) Red chili powder
5) Turmeric powder
6) 1/2 tsp asafoetida 
7) Salt as per taste
8) 1/4 cup oil mohan

Method:

In a mixing bowl take bhajani, ajwain, sesame seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt and mix all together.




Heat oil for mohan in a pan until it reaches the smoking stage.

Pour it over bhajani mixture and mix by using spoon.

Now add 1 cup boiling water.

Knead the flour and make a soft dough.



Put dough in the chakli mould.

Press and move into circular motion and make a chakli.



Heat enough oil in the pan.

When oil is heated enough, turn the heat to medium to low and put  chakali in the pan.



Fry them to brown colour.

Once cool store it in a airtight container.
