Usal Thalipeeth | Sprouted Pulses Thalipeeth Recipe in Marathi | उसळीचे थालीपीठ


The Usal Thalipeeth Recipe made from sprouted pulses is described here jotted down step-by-step. Sprouted pulses are alkaline,whole,pure and natural foods! It is said that sprouts ‘represent the miracle of birth’. These are 'super foods'. This food is low in Saturated Fat and Sodium, and very low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Protein, Thiamin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Potassium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Riboflavin, Folate, Copper and Manganese - big list :-) !
Instead of checking departmental and organic stores for health foods and recipes, we could eat ordinary sprouts on daily basis for nutrition by eating a live veggie 'Powerhouse of Nutrients'.

२ व्यक्तींसाठी


साहित्य:

१) १ वाटी उसळ 
२) १ छोटा चमचा जीरे
३) १ छोटा चमचा ओवा
४) १/२ छोटा चमचा हळद
५) १/२ छोटा चमचा लाल तिखट
६) मीठ चवीनुसार
७) २ वाटया गव्हाचे पीठ 
९) १ चमचा तांदुळाचे पीठ
१०) २ चमचे बेसन
११) १ कांदा बारिक चिरलेला
१२) कोथिंबीर


कृती:

एका भांडयात गव्हाचे पीठ, तांदुळाचे पीठ व बेसन घ्यावे त्यात जीरे, ओवा, हळद, लाल तिखट, बारिक चिरलेलाकांदा, कोथिंबीर व उसळ घालून पीठ मळुन घ्यावे.







हे पीठ भिजवत असताना पाणी घालण्याची गरज नसते, तिखट मीठ सुध्दा बेताने घालावे घालावे कारण उसळीत पहिलेच घातलेले असते. 




वरून एक छोटा चमचा तेल लावून  १० मिनिटे ठेवावे. 





या पीठाचे एकाच अकाराचे गोळे करून घ्यावे.




एक एक गोळा पोळपाटावर घेवून खाली दाखविल्याप्रमाणे छान लाटून घ्यावा. 




तवा गरम करत ठेवावा त्यावर लाटलेले थालीपीठ घालावे.



खरपुस भाजावे चमच्याने थोडेसे तेल सोडावे. 



पलटून दुसऱ्या बाजूनेही भाजून घ्यावे.




खरपुस झाले की लगेचच खावयास घ्यावे.
