Doodhi Halwa (Bottle Gourd)


Time:

20 Minutes,
Serve for 3.

Ingredients:

1)   3 Cups grated doodhi (bottle gourd)
2)   ½ Litter Milk
3) 1 Cup Sugar
4)   2 tbsp Ghee 
5)  ¼ tsp cardamom powder
6)  ½ Cup chopped Almond, Cashew nuts, Kishmish















Method:

Remove skin of doodhi and grate it.

Add ghee in a pan, add doodhi and stir it mix.

Once the ghee separated from doodhi add hot milk in it and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes.














Now add cardamom powder. Let the bottle gourd cook over medium heat.

Once the milk absorbed add sugar and dry fruits.

Keep stirring until mixture becomes thick.

When done turn off fire and allow to cool.

Garnish with almonds slices.
